I never said that he was an advocate of drugs. Millions looked up to him because he was an inspiration and a brilliant musician. I noted that he was a heroin addict because people tend to blame his death on courtney rather than think that their hero was a depressed junkie. Drugs may be glorified some times but still, no one wants to think of the ugliness of it all in application to Kurt Cobain, or anyone they love or look up to for that matter.

Hey i totally agree what you said punk's not dead. I hate it when people say that. It completely throws aside some of the most brilliant bands of our time. Frenzal Romb, NOFX, Propaghandi, Rancid, the Misfits, Refused and a gajillion other bands who are being ignored by radio stations and fans alike. And while I'm ranting, Courtney DID NOT KILL KURT. I'm sick of everybody hating her just because he did. Sure she was a drug addict, but it was his addiction that killed him. Don't get angry at her like he did, because she tried to save him from himself. And don't love him because he was a star, he may have been a difinitive voice of millions of teenagers all over the globe but there was no one he loved more than his valuable friend heroin.
